At night go-go dancing and other entertainment.
When compared to other places in south Thailand such as Phuket or Danok not much is going on here, all is more the karaoke and massage version of nightlife since most people visiting are from Malaysia and they like that.
The nightlife center is along Sangchan Road where there are some hotels with restaurant, show entertainment with the natural essence the young fresh ladies. They come from every corner of the country to pull some cash from the tourists.
When sitting or walking around in the down town area every few minutes one of the ladyboys is approaching, they are mostly freelancer, but stay away from them since trouble is looming when they are around. The pictures here are from the Pink Lady Cafe which is in the hotel with the same name, they also have a similar one in Phuket, the "Pink Lady 2002".
When staying in the city consider the Pink Lady Hotel which is right in the center beside of the Lee Garden. It a bit difficult to find the first because a small alley with plenty of shops leads to the entrance. The have reasonable rates of around Baht 800,- and even a bath tub which is not usual in this price range.
There is a huge massage shop on the lower floor with plenty of ladies and at the same level is a "cafe shop" with some singing and dancing. The place is the same as the Pink Lady 2002 Phuket Town.
This lodge is "girl friendly"
that means you can take them with to the room without problems. The environment is typical relaxed Chinese means can do everything as long as it is paid which is a interesting philosophy anyway and evidently it works.
