Exotic tropic plants.
There are real colorful beauties around and they are amazingly low priced, buyer even come from Cambodia to get them. They have built up a kind of a small industry around the flowers with the center in Bangkok where they "breed" and invent new composition every month.
The laboratory send the seedlings to the nurseries in the country were the sterile mini plants are grown further and sold.
This way thousands of orchids are distributed and they do a good business. When visiting the country it's always a good idea to check for the nearest nursery and have a look. The pictures here are from a grower in the southern part of Phuket and it is very similar elsewhere. This is a ideal day-trip destination when you are on holiday.
